I have been a sport masseur for over 15 years. I trained as a sport masseur (ITEC at Bournemouth & Poole College) after I broke my back in 2000. I did many sports including cross country running, football, netball and hockey. I was fortunate enough to mostly be injury free, but after I broke my back everything changed. I understood pain on a major scale. I could no longer run and this is when I became interested in training as a sport masseur. I use a technique called trigger point therapy to release muscle spasms. Sports massage is not just for sports injuries. I can help most types of injuries sports related and day to day aches and pains. I also offer Swedish full body massage.
I currently work on a mobile bases and I travel to you. I hope to have my premises up and running soon. Prices are for roughly a 10 mile area from Oakdale. If you live outside this area please ask for a quote.
I am currently studying Kinesiology and Hot Stone Massage. Kinesiology is a form of therapy that uses muscle monitoring (biofeedback) to look at imbalances that may be causing disease in the body. Kinesiology aims to detect and correct imbalances that may relate to stress, nutrition, learning problems, minor injuries, and other issues from your daily life. It is the scientific study of human or non-human body movement. Kinesiology addresses physiological, biomechanical, and psychological dynamic principles and mechanisms of movement.
